Blakk Sherif Voices Disappointment in Ghana's Government

Renowned Ghanaian musician Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong, known widely as Black Sherif, has openly expressed his deep disappointment with the governing affairs of Ghana. The artist shared his sentiments on Twitter following his participation in a United Nations conference held in New York City.

Leaving the conference right after the Ghanaian president's presentation, Black Sherif took to Twitter and uttered a thought-provoking statement: "Left the UN Conference in the New York City right after the president of Ghana's presentation. I've never heard a figure like what he asked for from the UN.

So if they carry all these money give dem , where them dey take pass? Hand on my heart I dey tell you there's no evidence for all the moneys these people dey borrow in our name. And if the people, whose struggles you document to go ask for money, want accountability, you send koti make they dey beat them? Lord knows this battle is Ours. Wonna go hear am."

In a show of solidarity, Highlife legend Rex Omar appeared to endorse Black Sherif's sentiments by sharing a screenshot of his Twitter post, accompanied by the caption " Braveheart Blacko"  

This act resonated strongly with many individuals who lauded Black Sherif for his courage, unwavering loyalty to his homeland, and his ability to echo the voiceless.
