Ngannou Calls Fury "Table Tennis Champ" After Disputed Loss, Seeks Rematch

Francis Ngannou is making it clear he believes he was robbed in his boxing match against Tyson Fury last Saturday. After dropping a split decision, the MMA knockout artist called for a rematch with the self-proclaimed "Gypsy King."

In the aftermath of the crossover super fight, celebrities like LeBron James criticized the official scoring, saying it exemplified why boxing has issues. Even Mike Tyson, whom Fury is named after, supported Ngannou from his corner and disagreed with the outcome.

Many fans online also voiced feeling Ngannou deserved the decision after taking the fight to Fury. As one Facebook comment stated: "Francis literally made a joke outta the entire boxing division tonight."

Ngannou himself reacted by dubbing Fury the "Table Tennis champion of the world" in a social media post, suggesting Fury was merely running away and avoiding real fighting.

Despite no belts on the line, the backlash surrounding the official judges' scorecards has cast this "Battle of the Baddest" in controversy.

Ngannou made it clear he wants another shot at Fury in the ring after the debatable outcome. For the Cameroonian champion, this first boxing foray is unfinished business.

No matter what the official cards said, many observers believe Ngannou showed he can hang with elite boxers. The MMA community feels "The Predator" has a real case that he won the epic slugfest.

Perhaps this outcry will motivate Fury to grant Ngannou the rematch he desires. A second fight would surely be must-see viewing after this hotly contested first clash of fighting titans.
