Epixode Unleashes Another Dancehall Smash with “Asantewaa”

Veteran Ghanaian dancehall act Epixode has dropped another scorcher with his latest single “Asantewaa”, produced by ace beatmaker GomezBeatz. The hard-hitting reggae-dancehall joint looks primed to become a staple in parties and clubs across Ghana and beyond.

From the jump, “Asantewaa” hooks you in with its blazing afro-dancehall rhythms mixed with rapid-fire twi and patois lyrics. Epixode flexes his versatility blending melodic vocal toasts with smooth and gritty flows praising the warrior spirit of Asante women.

GomezBeatz cooks up a fiery production full of rich basslines, Afro-Caribbean percussion and high energy tempo. With Epixode riding the beat in fine form, the vibes burst out the speakers sure to light up any dancefloor.

Epixode has adeptly mastered the balance between crafting radio-friendly tracks with staying faithful to his reggae-dancehall roots. “Asantewaa” looks to follow a long run of past smash hits, thanks to his sharp songwriting and GomezBeatz’s gift for club-ready barnburners.

Being an Epixode track, you can expect “Asantewaa” to be getting heavy rotation by DJs from Accra to Kumasi to Tamale. The song’s mix of contemporary style with authentic dancehall flavor makes this another win for the Ghanaian bashment veteran.
