Kuami Eugene Responds to Former Housekeeper's Claims

Popular Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene has reacted to allegations made by his former housekeeper, Mary. In a recent interview, Mary stated that she was paid very little during her employment with the artist and was eventually let go for returning late one night after running an errand.

According to Mary, when she first started working for Kuami Eugene, her monthly salary was GHS 400. Over the next few years, she received small incremental raises, eventually making GHS 500 per month before her termination.

Mary claims she was dismissed from her position the night she came home after midnight. She had been asked to deliver something by one of Kuami Eugene's female friends earlier in the day. When she returned, Kuami Eugene allegedly expressed concern that she was out so late and that he could be held responsible if something bad happened. He then gave her an ultimatum - either pack up her belongings or continue working for GHS 400 per month.

In response to the allegations on social media, Kuami Eugene tweeted the popular local phrase "Nipa bi y3 cobra" which loosely translates to "Just like the serpent, some people have a knack for deception," He seemed shocked by Mary's version of events.

Representatives for the famous "Rockstar" have not issued an official statement related to Mary's claims or provided further details on her dismissal at this time. But Eugene's tweet hints that he disputes aspects of his former domestic worker's account.

As the story continues unfolding, the artist's fans await clarification on exactly what transpired between Kuami Eugene and his ex-housekeeper during her tenure. For now, the singer appears bewildered by the controversy but may address the matter more comprehensively soon.
