Ofori Amponsah Pays Homage to Lumba As Roro Buddy Exposes His "Hypocrisy"

Ghanaian Highlife icon Ofori Amponsah recently sat down for a tell-all, where he fondly credited veteran Daddy Lumba for molding him into a star. But legendary producer Roro Buddy soon fired back by calling out Ofori's "hypocrisy" over his glossing over their past tensions.

During an in-depth interview, Ofori heaped praise onto Lumba - from nurturing him daily for 6 years straight to blessing his career over two decades later. "That man is the reason I became who I am, through his guidance," Ofori proclaimed.

However, when asked about Lumba's former protégé Great Ampong blasting the singer for past mistreatment, Ofori dodged details by claiming ignorance. Though he hinted at understanding Ampong's criticisms, stating cryptically, "When you meet fertile soil, just plant seeds and move on."

Roro Buddy caught wind of Ofori's polite shade toward his own former mentor Lumba. The producer clapped back by getting brutally candid about feeling previously "cheated" by the singer behind closed doors.

"You came begging an unsigned nobody back then - now you chorus lies as a hypocrite!" Roro fired off. He then spilled chilling tea of being denied payment while ill and calling out Ofori's two-faced nature.

While Ofori painted Lumba as his eternal hero, Roro exposed grimy glimpses of the Highlife star's opportunism. He makes a sobering statement on the backstabbing that tragically gets downplayed as standard practice.

So while Ofori serenades with syrupy sweet lyrics, Roro brings the bitter behind-the-scenes betrayal to light! We eagerly await how this juicy he-said-he-said continues playing out. But Roro's candid call-out sure struck a nerve!
