Sarkodie Shows Support for Stonebwoy's Performance at Angelique Kidjo's Concert

Despite past tensions, Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie recently showed public support for fellow artist Stonebwoy on social media. He congratulated Stonebwoy for his acclaimed performance at Angelique Kidjo's 40th anniversary concert in London.

On November 17th, Stonebwoy joined Beninese legend Angelique Kidjo on stage at Royal Albert Hall. Their collaboration on Stonebwoy's song "Manodzi," taken from Stonebwoy's 5th Dimension album, was a highlight of the historic show.

Afterwards, media personality Olele Salvador shared a post praising Stonebwoy's role in the event. Sarkodie retweeted it and added the comment "Flag up" with Ghana's flag, signaling his appreciation.

This gesture of support comes despite past tensions between the two stars. However, Sarkodie's tweet emphasizes unity within Ghana's music industry - showing talent and collaboration can transcend perceived differences.

Kidjo's concert was a major celebration of African music's global impact. By joining her on stage, Stonebwoy represented Ghanaian artistry excellently to the world. Sarkodie's pride in this achievement underscores that at the end of the day, they are all waving the same flag.

The show marked the launch of Kidjo's world tour celebrating 40 years of stellar musicianship. As she embarks on taking African music worldwide, Sarkodie's display of solidarity with a fellow Ghanaian artist is noteworthy.

Despite past rivalries, Ghanaian artists continue to come together when it really counts - to highlight the immense talent coming out of their country. Sarkodie's social media praise for Stonebwoy's role in Kidjo's landmark concert makes this clear. Both artists do their nation proud.
