Football icon Lionel Messi and his family were recently treated to a VIP experience at an Ed Sheeran concert. The Argentine superstar documented the special outing on social media.
Videos show Messi's sons Thiago, Mateo and Ciro gleefully singing along to Sheeran's hit "Bad Habits" during the show. Their proud dad Messi secretly filmed the cute moment on his phone, capturing the boys' enthusiasm.
Another photo features the Messis posing happily with Sheeran backstage. The two stars first connected back in 2021, when Sheeran approached Messi for a photo during a Paris Saint-Germain match.
Messi's wife Antonella Roccuzzo, also a huge Sheeran fan, unfortunately missed meeting the singer then. But Sheeran made it up to her with a sweet video message.
Now the whole family got to enjoy VIP treatment at the concert, thanks to Messi and Sheeran's mutual admiration. The singer counts among only 300 people Messi follows on social media.
It looks like the Messis had an incredible time jamming out to Sheeran's catchy tunes. Getting the superstar experience clearly thrilled Lionel Messi's three sons.
This wasn't the first time the football GOAT bonded over music with another icon. He linked up previously with fellow sports star LeBron James at a Bad Bunny concert too.
