Notable Ghanaian musician Darkovibes recently clarified his status with popular music collective LaMeM gang after being absent from just ended major beach concert - Tidal Rave Festival held at La Palm Royal Beach.
In a radio interview, Darkovibes confirmed he very much remains part of LaMeM gang alongside fellow artists RJZ, Spacely and others.
When asked about missing their high-profile Tidal Rave show in Accra, Darkovibes explained he was out of town during the planning. However, he congratulated his LaMeM crew for successfully headlining the event.
Darkovibes adamantly denied any rift with his LaMeM brethren, even pointing to his tattoo repping the group as proof. He quipped he would have turned it into a "blackboard" if there was beef.
While reiterating his LaMeM affiliation, Darkovibes noted members do pursue separate endeavors as individual artists. He highlighted his own distinctive Darkovibes brand and mission.
Nonetheless, when they come together as LaMeM it's an explosive brotherhood and they control crowds as the "Power Rangers."
Darkovibes regretted missing the big show but made it crystal clear he remains loyal to LaMeM gang. Fans can rest assured there's no bad blood despite his performance absence.
